Kind of rant...more a whinge :P

So, I'm in desperate need of a break from work, haven't had a proper one (as in more than a day or two) in 2 years and I've accrued ridiculous amounts of leave along with carpal tunnel and tendinitis from working at a keyboard too much.

Work needs me down in Victoria on Friday so I thought I'd arrange to meet with my boyfriend (who lives down there) and we could stay somewhere. He's organised a place for us to stay for a week (can't stay where he lives usually, visitor restrictions) but I don't know where it is and haven't heard from him since last Thursday when I spoke to him on the phone. His phone is currently dead so he's had to rely on public phones which, in his area, are often out of order because people break them (garrrr). He gets on Facebook once or twice a week but since his phone's been dead it's not been very often and he hasn't been on since Thursday either. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I need to book my flights and have no idea where I'm going after the work meeting or what day I can stay til. Arghhhh!! Have been really looking forward to this, haven't been able to see him since May...

(I know it's not his fault he can't contact me, so I'm not blaming him, more shaking my fists at the evil holiday gods...)

Started about 20 mins after me posting this he rang. All is fine, all is organised, I'm a silly stress-head and I'm having a decent break from work, finally!
