Agreed to the bold. I was once told that as well and it has proven true

I wouldn't date him. I'm not that religious at all and a church sitter annoys me. I just couldn't picture myself with someone who had to pray about dating me. Sounds like he can't take a single step without consulting a higher power.

That's the same as consulting a psychic everyday about what to do with your future. Anyone who can't take their future into their own hands is a bit weak for me.

Sorry if this post offended anyone. Don't go into a witch hunt or anything about Jesus Christ. It's just a huge turn off when someone can't make a decision on their own.

"Will you date me? Ok cool, I gotta go ask god first" wth? And the "I like/love you" in another language is a bit strong.

Don't fall that easily for someone. Make him work for it.

By the way the OP describes this boy he sounds more awkward than anything else. Sure, he could be coming across as strong but I'm feeling like he is trying to impress Samstead but not too sure how to go about it. :)

well with the kind of person he is dating is kind of a big thing, he's sure of his feelings for me but...how to I explain this...Christians are usually "intentional" about dating meaning unless that's someone you can spend the rest of your like with, then don't do it. I actually think it's rally sweet he wanted to pray about it means he's taking this, taking ME seriously but I also think it should have gone in the other order.

    Good luck on your date.
** Coming from a cult-ish "christian" background it's a turn-off to me but I'm always one to say whatever floats your boat and as long you are happy.
