I hate wearing glasses! It isn't a vanity thing really but more of remembering them when I drive or go somewhere, they get scratched easily and they are expensive because of the Asigmatism. They slide down my nose when I ride(I realize that is a fit problem) and I have lost and broke glasses due to horse wrecks. Contacts are really not an option, I don't think, given the irritation from being outside a lot, dust, pollen etc., but if I am wrong then someone please educate me.
I am considering having the Lasik done so I can throw the glasses away and go back to having good vision without them! I used to have perfect vision and it has been frustrating not being able to see like I used to.
If someone here has had it done please tell me about your experience. Was it worth the money? Did you have complications? How long did it take to recover? How did you find and decide to use the doctor that performed the surgery? Or anything else worth sharing.
