As some of you were aware we have been anxiously awaiting a new addition at our place and on December 3rd she made her debut . Say hello to our daughter, Roxy.
We have spent the last 6 days in the hospital thanks to a few complications, but are home now with the all clear from our respective doctors. Starting to find our feet and adjust to this whole parenthood business
I have discovered a downside to being at home. My meals no longer arrive at scheduled times on trays from nice ladies...I have to make the darn things myself now!
If you lived near by, I would be happy to "cater" your meals. At least for the first 2 weeks. That is what I've done for my son and his wife after each grandchild was born. I remember how I would have so appreciated even a few meals done for me during those first few weeks.
Keep the meals simple and focus on resting , you've been through a lot and your body needs time to recoup.

I bet that was very much appreciated!! My dad flies in for a few days tomorrow and he used to work as a chef in the army kitchens, so I might have to take advantage of him while he's here! lol.
Thank you all again!! We had our first adventure out in to the world since she was born yesterday and she was a little angel. I can't believe she is almost 2 weeks old already!!
Oh and KV, I was a redhead at my wedding, but mine comes from a bottle . I'm a natural blonde, but DH is a redhead and a large portion of my family are too so we knew there was a pretty good chance that she was going to be red .
