    A little boost please?

So i've recently taken on the responsibility of networking for my Auto repair company. Its a little mom and pop shop, four bays, passed down through my family for the past sixty years. We have a facebook, and a listing on angies list, im working on google plus, and we have our own website
OK TIRE Fort Lauderdale, FL (954) 523-3198

My question is, for anybody who may also know about business networking, after the initial thirty likes on facebook, how do I go about bringing around more visitors without spending money?
For angies list, how can I make our listing more accessible? Do we need more/better reviews?
Any other outlets I can exploit in my efforts to expand my lil auto shop?

Please and thank you for all your advice!! I need it lol

Word of mouth! Maybe offer your customers some type of discount or reward for reffering you more customers? And push your current customers to leave reviews on the sites that you already have.

We've only made it thi far because of word of mouth :) but recently, people don't talk as often as they type. Lol

We have bi annual car shows, and our younger customers will sometimes give us reviews.... i'll see what we can do for deals :) thanks!!

I'm not sure how you would go about doing it, or what the cost is, but look into the little ads that pop up on the side of facebook pages and whatnot. They might not be cost effective for a small business, but it never hurts to look into it.

I hear ya. Just this past 3 yrs we lost our other two locations, and this one, even thought its been here for sixty years, is just clinging. We've had six other small businesses in our area close in the last six months. Three of them are already torn down for another hampton inn. We just can't compete with firestone and pep boys on some of thier pricing, even if our service is safer and more reliable.

I use a small shop where I know the owner for my vehicles. I like it there because everyone knows my name, I know the owner, we get reminder stickers, complementary detailing on a service and they leave little candies in the car. As well because I've been a client for so long, they let us in on freebies.
I recommend them to everyone because the service is so good. They might be more expensive, but are always willing to help out. After service, the cover under the engine came off, replaced for free because they might have forgotten to screw it in tightly. Free tire repairs on tires bought at their place. Etc..
I know they are also focused on being green, or low emission, and hosted a federal government meeting on sustainability. As far as I know, advertising is all word of mouth. I've never seen an advert for them...

I like the idea of a small discount if you refer a new customer. As well maybe try sponsoring something, going to local events with flyers, or setting up an inexpensive, easy maintenance task (oil change, belt check, etc..) on the corner of a busy road one day.

    Good luck!

Well for one thing, you website has no decent Keywords for Search Engines to find. You also have no Description that allows Keyword relevance, thus Internet searches will have difficulty in find you.

Have you ever seen those small Coupons Packets that come in your Mailbox? You could do a direct Mailing to selected Zip codes in you area, I did one a few years ago when I used to be a Realtor, I think it cost 125.00 to do 1,000 mailers as they send them in packs with other companies to be cost effective

    Good Luck
