How much money did they take?
right??? Everybody says its this unit.....but the unit (while they are pretty stuck up) follow the rules to a T. So theyre doing exactly what the guidelines show...no matter how messed up they are.

They actually didnt take any money...i was demoted to PFC, got 14 days extra duty, and they suspended 1/2 months pay for 90 days...so if I don't "screw up" (haha right) again then I wont lose any.

I hope that accident didn't mess ya up too bad. I haven't been on the recieving end, but I have rear-ended someone. Let me tell you, that SUCKED. Only in my case, Ford did not prevail. Haha.

Everything will be better, just keep going!
    yeah. This unit sucks haha.
Im not really messed up....just sore from the seatbelt, and slamming my shoulder into the window haha. Im acutally really happy with how the Escape handled it. Everybody makes fun of me for having a "plastic" car, but now I can be like "ha. My plastic car totally beat the crap out of the audi!"

So, if you got busted down to a pfc, you did take a pay hit.....

I hated state side duty....much better to be overseas with a mission rather than playing army for the sake of playing army.

No good conduct medal for you my dear.....

    How's your EER?

Haha well true. 200 less...but I actually havnt had my pay docked for PFC yet. I got my article last tuesday....got paid friday so I still got my SPC pay....i havnt seen my LES yet to see if they have me back at PFC but our S1 is soooo stinkin slow it may be awhile haha

You would be amazed....(well maybe not) how FEW people are getting good conduct medals. Its crazy.
Im really wishing I was on a deployment right now or korea or something...instead of here playing soldier and pushing paper. But hopefully my reenlistment will dish out some good things haha.

    My EER?

You talking about a brag sheet? Im confused. Haha

EER, or Enlisted Evaluation Report. We used to get them once a year and also when changing duty stations.

Score of 125 was perfect. They used to take time in service + time in grade + EER in consideration for promotion.

    Do they still do them?

Not that I know of. I havnt heard anything like that. The closest thing I can think of is the NCOER for E-5 and up.

But then again since E-4 and below is automatic promotion they may only have em now for E-4 and up...and I only had my E-4 for 3 months

My flag is 45 days. I have like 3 weeks left on that. But my suspended pay is 90 days. And its a suspension of E-3 pay so at least 90 days...probably more im really not sure. I havent had a chance to talk to my 1SGT since the whole thing.

Hahaha you shoulda seen me when I got it last tuesday....not a good day....

But im def. Trying to keep an open mind, I know it could have been mucho worse....mine was only company grade....heck they way theyre shoving people out, I could have been kicked out of the army

I mean, 90% of the senior NCO's here all say this isnt the real army, the "real" army isnt all paper-pusher, stick up their butt kinda deal. My 1sgt has even gotten an article (field grade O.O) so I know I can recover from it. And I really want to stay in so, the more positive and kind of FIDO I have towards this the better chances ill have of beingg able to reup and get the duty station I want.

Yes mam. Take it, make the necessary changes, and learn from it.

The army only shrinks until the next war.
