Red face Looking on the Bright Side of Bad Luck

So I just figured I'm bored at work and I'll share some happenings in my life because well..I'm bored.
So last month my car broke down...drive shaft went and threw a rod through the oil reservior. My brother, the sweet soul that he is, told me to use his car - he works away and drives his truck usually. So I had been driving his car for 5 days when on my way to a friends - the clutch went. Hoping it was maybe a cylinoid or cable I drove it in to town and got it diagnosed... The clutch needed to be replaced. So I called my brother and he told me to drive it to the parents and he'll fix it on his days off. Started driving it to my parents and the transmission goes 15 minutes down the road. Got it towed to my parents.
My dad tells me to take their truck, and I had been driving it for a week and a half when the lift pump went. No where around had the part and then my dad went back to work so... I checked the busing schedule, and there is no bus that lines up with my work hours.
Been catching a ride to work all week with one of the mechanics who lives on my end of the city, until today.
I really want to tone my legs..and after work I have no motivation to exercise aside from a little walk for my dog. So I biked what was supposed to be 11 km to work today. Unfortunately I got a little lost on the bike trails so went a few extra kilometers.
I arrived to work an hour after starting out a sweaty, gasping, red faced mess. But I feel pretty accomplished. I hadn't ridden a bike in almost 2 years and really wish I had worked up to this distance...but oh well.
Now I'm saving on gas and insurance and can save up for a vehicle - while I get in shape.

Haha...yeah, my brother and I went out with some friends the other weekend. We left the pub and went to get into his girlfriends truck and it just barely started.. He told me to get out and walk aha.
Honestly, everyone always tells me I have the worst luck, I just try to them (and make myself believe) that it could always be worse.. lol
