To many critters in florida

Living in centrsl Fl. I'm pretty used to bugs, snakes and gators.
But last nite blew my mind...
I have with black and browm recluses, but as I opened my doors to let the dogs in I turned on them outside light and spanning my front porch above my head wss the most beautiful pstternrf spiders web. It spanned at least 15 acrossed and in the middle was avery busy big but spider..
This morning it was gone what the hek was it?
It lookedsilverry to me but my hubby says it was brown.oi

I apologize this tablet hasamind of its own.
Should I have killed it?
I did have to take out some brown widows last week but they were hiding under the house and had 30 or so eggs.
Such a huge web almost beautiful. So expansive I swear it wasn't there a nite ago... Or maybe it was......?
