Well, as you know, our 4-H program here is pretty small and we lack volunteering and such. My mom called the 4-H office for more info on the Enrollment Forms and I guess they were talking about me becoming a leader of something. I sign up for the Dog project every year. We have only had a leader once in 2005. Mom told me that the 4-H office possibly wanted me to Volunteer as the 4-H Dog Project leader. The leader age requirement is 14+ I think. I am only 13 but do you guys think I could be the leader? And what all would I do? Mom reminded me about it this morning when I was out working with Theo. He's progressing well, btw!

I think it comes down to what you have time for. I think its something once you commit to it you should stick it out, so make sure you can give it your best. If you have to many other commitments and other things may suffer because of it, I would turn it down. If you think you can handle it with everything else then go for it.

I'm trying to decide what I can and cannot do. I'm starting club soccer soon....for the first time because I'm not the biggest fan of it...and I don't know how long that will go but I will find out.

I'm not worried about taking the offer much now because usually only my friends and I sign up. lol.

Thank you, Vida. :D

ooh, my two cents:

dog leader=tough!! trust me.... the one we had b4 umm, well I could go on about that forever, but she "left" let's say..... then I was incharge of teaching the new people the ins and outs of 4-H dog shows...... way, way way, too crazy...... I only had to teach 3 ppl too... it was really overwhelming and that was when i didn't really have any extra curriculars...... just my opinion
