Pvt, IMO what you said was very harsh and unessecary. Yes, your allowed to have your opionion, but haven't you heard of the saying "If you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all"? I think this is an instance where that rule should have been followed. Yes, you may not like it. Fine, but it's not your body, and you have no reason to judge this man, telling him that he's begging for attention and that he'll never get a job. He can do what he wants with is body, and you can stay out of it. I'm sure he knows the in's and outs of consiquences to getting body mods done. Including those in the workplace.

Moral of the story - If you don't like it, don't look. You cannot change what people do and have allways done to their bodies. No need to get your panties in a bunch over it. Instead focus on something you can change.

Besides, you can't say you we're the "perfect non-rebellious teenager"

Perhaps I was a bit judgmental in saying that, and although he doesn't seem to be upset, I apologize if I made the OP feel bad.

The reason I posted that is because there are a lot of younger people on this forum, and I think they should see there are strong opinions if they were to do things like this. Just as they are able to see the views of those in favor of it, they should also be able to see the views of those against it.

To make sure I am perfectly clear, it's not that I am against all tattoo's or piercings. My own husband had three tongue rings up until his surgery this past summer. It is the extreme body modifications I am against.
