Daughter was not happy I told her something "smaller" less people. LOL She is too precious, though. Always knows how to make me smile

I just wanted a regular wedding like most other brides have. It would have jsut been more special on my farm but im fine with a small gathering somewhere else that has an inclusive type deal. Thank you for those being supportive with your great ideas. MLS- I was not trying to sound rude, I truly think that's why I come off that way.
So get married - your way and then throw an open house/party/reception for the guests.

We hosted a 25th anniversary party for one of our boarders. We bought plywood (good grade) to make a dance floor, DJ on a hay rack, rented tables and chairs and put them all in our indoor arena. I powerwashed the barn, mowed, trimmed and weeded to within an inch of my life. Driveway was lined with tiki torches, barn adorned with the white fairy lights and tulle. Parking was in our outdoor arena.

We chose to help the couple and did a potluck (gift from my boarders) but a caterer could handle the food.

Thankfully I am not "articulate and well spoken all the time" so I allow myself to admit I make mistakes.

It is strange that someone who is "articulate and well spoken all the time" would not be able to word a question in a manner that the person reading would know for sure what they are asking.

It also gives me the bonus of knowing that when you sound rude you meant it.

Hire yourself a new wedding planner. They are easy to find. I am sure there are plenty of them that are more than willing to ignore being insulted.

In all reality, I really never meant to be rude to the planner nor anyone here. I am a nice person, and I think I write well, but then again, maybe I don't choose the best words when writing. But by no means is it intentional, so I won't claim it to be. And everyone makes mistakes. I don't think im anywhere near perfect. But I do always try to better myself. Which was why I asked you to elaborate on what you saw was rude or abbrasive. Hopefully one day I will be able to get my opinions across without them appearing as fact and only as my side.
