Moron Day

Today no matter how slow I explain things, there has been one moron after the other! How do they determine where to go when it's not happy moron day? Why are they all scheduled to come out on the same day?
Its funny, but seriously its scary.
I ask for a persons name and they don't give the correct one, then I repeat a phone number twice, slowly and still they get it wrong. It was then that I decided to say "yep, exactly, click".

I know the feel! I was at camp once and we had some jersey calves in the petting zoo (for those of you who don't know jersey cows are very skinny as calves.) I had to explain to her twice that no, they were NOT malnourished and there was nothing wrong with them after I explained it the first time she just looked at me and said "yeah but is there something wrong with them?" No ma'am its just their breed, like I just said. She proceeded to ask if the cross up on the rock was for Rocky (the camps first director) I explained that no, it was simply a reminder of God's love and that he is watching over us always her next questions was "No I didn't mean I thought he was buried up there I meant is it in memory if him?"....what did I JUST say?

I thought the title said "Mormon day".

Count me amoung the morons , today. And . . .

Being called a moron isn't always bad. Actually I would prefer being called more on than more off, especially when it pertains to riding.

Everyone has bad days or "off" moments.

The past two weeks have been really interesting for some...different things....

I had one lady in looking at a cooking thermometer. Its metal, clearly, but she still asks me if she can use it in the microwave. After I explain no, not while its running, she then asks me if she can use it in the toaster. I, trying to joke, said as long as she doesn't touch the sides of the toaster with the metal stick. She looked pretty confused. I try to think she just has never had kitchen appliances before.

We just got a decent dump of snow, and a car was stuck in the parking lot. Three people were pushing on the back of the car, trying to get it to go forward. Meanwhile, my roommates and I watched, waiting to call 911 when one gets squished. The driver had the car in reverse and had it floored.

But the winner in my mind the past couple weeks: during the day of said snow, a guy got his car nicely stuck trying to drive into our parking lot. Its cold, windy and wet, but he jumps out of the car in a t-shirt and starts digging with his bare hands. 30 seconds later jumps in his car frantically rubbing his hands to warm up. Jumps back out and starts digging. Repeats this process several times.
Finally gets his car moving, pulls into his parking space (one of the closest ones to the door) gets out, reaches into his back seat and pulls out a jacket. Puts on jacket and mittens and walks the 10 feet inside.

Think how stupid the average person is,,,, then realize 50% of the population is dumber than that.
