    Mother's Day

So lets hear about great Mother's Days you've had!

-best present received (if your a mother, if a child-best gift given)

    -this year's gift/gifts

    -worst Mother's Day ever

    -best Mother's Day ever

-anything else you want to share.

    MY ANSWERS
-probably a matching mother-daughter necklace I gave my mom las year (or was that for Christmas....?)

-silk painting, coupon book (spa day, car wash, 1 nasty chore she doesn't want to do), poem, and card.

-Probably the first couple when I couldn't give her anything because I didn't know what it was

-couple years ago, got her brkfst in bed and gave her a home-made flower (I was like 9- it was pretty good actually)

    -I got nothing.

So lets head about those great women in our lives!!!

    I love my mommy

This year I gave mum a homemade card which I worked very hard on and an origami flower I also did a lot of work on. It doesn't sound like much but because of the time spent I think it was enough.

Worst mother's day...well! Probably two years ago when I was downstairs that afternoon and jumped on a sewing needle (Mum's a dressmaker) and it went right through my toe, sticking up the other side, and we couldn't pull it out. So we spent that mother's day in the ER waiting for someone with pliers to pull it out.

Best mother's day...all the rest of them.

We gave my mum a moke this year we used to have one and the worst mistake we ever made was selling it so we got her a new one. If you don't know what a moke is, Google it ;) its a type of car. I dunno about the others.

I made a homemade card, I do it every year. I decorated a old basket and made it really pretty. Bought my mom two things that she didn't have and wanted. Then I got her a bag of chocolates and covered the bottom of the basket with kisses and sequins. All In all, she loved it!

That's cool! I'm not a terribly artistic person, I never would have thought of that!
