Motion sickness playing video games

I'm pretty addicted to video games, and a couple months ago my wife threw a fit about it and broke a couple of them and banned me.

Tonight she lifted the ban and put me on probation and I got on COD and got motion sick. Anybody else ever had that?

Haha I never had that problem but I don't play vid games that often. Maybe you should ease back into into again.

Also maybe rethink you're addiction if you're wife is banning it :P

I can't imagine my wife "banning" me from something I wanted to do, unless it was illegal. Sounds like an interesting relationship. If my wife tried that I'd play them just to piss her off. Haha But I do get motion sickness from all of the COD and cabelas big game hunter games. I don't get it from any other games. I play ghost recon, madden and grand turismo with no problems. I am hardly a gamer, though. Maybe one or two games a week at the most. Sometimes I won't turn on the playstation for a month or more. Mostly depends on the weather. Haha

I don't play video games but yes, it could be possible to get motion sickness from them. I was one that got motion sickness when first extensively using a microscope a long time ago. Having never lived in the mountains, don't even ask what happens as a passenger driving on switchback roads... just the thought of it makes me want to throw up!

haha
In all seriousness though...I had that problem when I tried Halo....and now that I have Skyrim, I can't play it on PC OR XBOX because it makes me nauseated. =(

Hmph, see we agree on some things. ;)
Yeah....I'm pretty sure my husband would not have the nerve to "ban" me from something I liked...but if he did, I'd have the exact same reaction.

Well I don't get motion sickness playing them and I suck at shooters. Cannot get the shooting and walking thing.
The Copper Kid likes this.

Reason why I don't play WII or anything else like that, makes me sick. Feel very nauseated and headachy after playing.
