Have any of you ever seen The Village? 2 of my friends and I went to see it in theatres.. I've seen it 4 times. I haven't bought it though.. and even though I've seen it 4 times.. it is still creepy! It scares me everytime I watch it, but I love the movie.
I'm not a fan of scary movies, but The Village was good.

I hear that a lot of people didn't like it
I don't know. I like it.
That's just my opinion though

Well not everyone will like the exact same thing, all of the time. Could you imagine if everyone liked the same type of movies? We'd be with out some of entertainment's best work!

I thought the movie was well put together, the story line was alright, but what I was most upset with is the ending. Over all, I dont are for M. Night Shyamalan's work.

One movie I did see tonight that was the worst thing I had ever seen, actually walked out before the end was "Blindness". It had about 4 sex scenes and a rape scene that was very loooong. At that point I called it quits. The story line was terrible and the movie was quite boring. A no no.

Don't recommend watching it.

give a quick run down of the story line cause i am not sure if i have seen it. I think that i might be thinking of the wrong movie. Is it the one with the town in the middle of a nature reserve and they created a monster to make the people think that it wasn't safe to go into the woods and then someone got hurt and needed medicine and someone left the town and went to the city over the wall????

hmmm...have to watch village again...don't think i paid enough attention to it the first time and my best friend loves it! i am not into scary movies anymore now that i am an oldster, but one of my fave movies that i can watch over and over again is "the sixth sense". watched it for the first time about 9 years ago when it first came out on pay per view, and my husband fell asleep about ohhhhhhhhh...6 minutes into it...i watched the whole thing but shut my eyes when the scary music started..still scared the heck out of me, so called my son's babysitter the next day and asked her if she wanted to come over and watch it with me DURING THE DAY...lol GREAT MOVIE!
