my awful christmas... how was yours? :)

Ive had a pretty crappy christmas to be honest.
Started feeling ill christmas day, felt sick & had a bit of a headache.
Got through the day & went round my boyfriends aunties for a party.
I wasnt going to drink because I wasnt feeling well, but somehow I got roped in to doing a shot. I started to feel a bit better so I carried on drinking...tequila shots & vodka and coke...my mistake. Ended up almost putting myself in hospital. I was being sick loads & ended up with a stomache bleed, Luke (my boyfriend) took me home and looked after me & I eventually fell asleep. Woke up the next morning feeling really sick & had an awful stomache ache. Went home & had something to eat then went back to bed. Started feeling a little better by the end of the day but woke up in the morning feeling really ill. Blocked nose, headache, sore throat & horrible cough and felt sick. Managed to drag myself down to the stables to feed Charlie but it probably wasnt a good idea. Got home & my cold got worse, I had a temperature & my heart was beating ridiculously fast & I was shaking. Pretty much what you feel like when youve had too much caffine..it was a little odd. Went to sleep and woke up the next morning still shaking, the shaking stopped a little later on but I was shivering even being in bed with the heating on. Spent the whole day in bed just sleeping. Woke up later in the day feeling boiling hot. Went down stairs to get a drink & ended up almost fainting, I layed on the sofa for a little while until I felt better then continued to get my drink & go back upstairs. Got back in bed and started to shiver again.. and now here I am boiling hot again & typing this lol still feeling rotten..hopefully i'll be better in a couple of days..

Anyway enough of my moaning, how was your christmas? Get everything you wanted? :)

How was my Christmas? Pretty average and a hell of a lot better than yours!
Sounds like you may have the flu. You need to take some aspirin and drink a lot of fluids and rest. I feel for you, dear. Hope you get better soon and don't underestimate how long your bod needs to get fully better. Don't go hacking out on your big fella 'til you have all your strength back.

    Thank you :)
Don't worry I wont even be going outside again until I feel better, let alone riding charlie haha. That's just asking to be killed.
Thought I was feeling better at about 4 this morning when I woke up to get a drink, but I've just woke up again now at 12 and im feeling rotten again. Looks like im having another day in bed lol everyone keeps telling me to go to the doctors, but im going to be completely honest I have a slight fear of the doctors

That's terrible, sorry you've felt that way over the holidays. I was sick during the entire christmas holiday to. Started off the day before and got sicker and sicker. Nausea/vomiting...a few other body issues during that time. Fought fevers on and off, couldn't eat or drink-had a headache. Then as I started to feel better, it's all turned into strep! I haven't been able to come back out yet. We've had a huge regional stomach flu going around, so a lot of people have been sick.

Nice to hear you feel better, hopefully sickness is over now (it'd still be good stay inside until you feel absolutely better if you can have someone to take care of your horse, not go out too early ).

I had actually pretty stressing Christmas. It was something related my health too.

Charlie -- get lots of rest, lots of fluids and open the windows to get lots of fresh air. Look forward to next Christmas! Or your birthday! Forget about this one. ;)

It's really a shame. The holidays should be fun and memorable and enjoyable. It seems the expectations of the holidays are just to extreme now. Hope you feel better now.
