My cat had kittens!

I let out my dog this afternoon and she wouldn't leave our wheelbarrow (which we keep straw in for our dog & our cat) alone. So finally I went over to see what she was doing and heard the squeaking noise that kittens make. I put my dog back in her run and lifted up the straw bale to see this:

There are five altogether- one white, one black, two grays, and one tortiseshell that looks exactly like Tally (the mother). I have no idea what gender they are, but my friend will hopefully be coming over to help me out with that.

Tally left the wheelbarrow to eat really and so I snapped a pic of the kittens by themselves.

So cute! Anyway, that's my dose of cuteness for the day.

Aww! That's too cute! .

Now just let them to get accustomed to your presence and then start to handle them so them don't grow to be too wild.

Luckily Tally's letting me be near them. I picked each of them up at least once since I needed to count them and they were fine about it- just squeaked a bit of course. Hopefully I can find them some pretty good homes!

Can He Star- Well, their momma's just a stray that we started feeding. I'm not sure who the papa is. So they're just your average run of the mill kitties.
I was really surprised at the coloring- black and white out of a tortiseshell. But I don't really know much about color genetics & such, so maybe that's rather normal.
