My horse is probably going to move into my back yard...

Because gas is so **** expensive. I might have to start riding him to work. We go through $70 at least a week in gas. The average is $3.89 - $4.02 depending on where you go. The cheapest I've seen it lately is $3.79 and that is actually at my work. Kills me! What are the gas prices like where you are?

About the same....$20 to go back and forth to school, then another $20 if I planned on going to the barn, then back and forth to work is another $20-$60 depending on how often the trainer needs me down there. Good thing about this though it that I'm NOT paying $700 per month on board and training....But of course ya know, I don't get paid either anymore from my trainer, I only get paid from outside clients which I'm kinda pressed for right now. Grrr.

Pssh.I didn't pick up the wrong lead
It's called a counter canter...

Susan you beat me to it! I saw that on fb too, love it!

I'm so thankful for my new car that's averaging 40 mpgs! Now if only they could figure out how to do that in a 1 ton pickup.

I wish, but with 40 miles commute it's impossible.

Hit $4.15 gas / $4.35 diesel. Drive to work isn't bad @ 10 miles one way, but the drive to the barn @ 50-ish miles one way is starting to get a lil pricey LOL

I have a 12 mile one way commute to take my kid to school.
She is in a wonderful school and doing well, thank heaven.
It cost me around 40 bucks to drive our Sable station wagon. Just to school and home.
I told her if she didn't keep up her grades, I would put her back into the town school and it worked!
