Apparently yeah :/

On Friday this is going to happen.

Thing is, I would have thought something like this, would have been all over the papers and the news?

Although I havn't really read the paper or watched the news this week, so I don't really know.

My brother was just telling my parents about it and stuff :/

I seriously hope this is false information, or misinterpreted. Does anyone know if any other news or media stations or websites have covered this?

NASA to Bomb the Moon Friday | NBC Miami

This plan, IMHO is just downright stupid. For Gods sake, our planet is 3/4 water!!!!!

They could take the money they spend on the rocket fuel alone and desalinate an entire sea into drinkable water.

I guess stuff like this is what happens when people have more dollars than sense.

They are not actually BOMBing the moon. the probe is going
to release probe (s) that will crash on the moon and hopefully
shoot up Ice or ice crystals which the orbiting craft will photograph

My question would be Why are they so mesmerized by MARS?

is the movie, MISSION to MARS some what factual. Was the earth
seeded by ancient, advanced space beings? Who's planet was dying
or they were just exploring?

If so, you could think of it this way. "God was an Astronaunt".

They did it and lots of people were dissapointed because it wasn't visable through the telescopes or something.

They are not doing this to the moon so that there will be more water on earth. They are doing it so that they can do missions to the moon without having to carry so much water.

I don't think space exploration and experiments is a waste of money. I think its possible that space holds the key to humanities future, and possibly existence. Its something that can benefit everybody. Who knows what we could find out there.
