I am really wanting to get my belly button pierced, my only fear is that it could get ripped out while riding,i ride western so its more of a possibility with a western saddle,
What is your experience when riding with belly button piercings, good or bad?
I had one, back when I was younger, and I never had a problem with pain or it getting caught. I did end up taking it out because it was constantly getting rubbed and dirty from barn activities, and it would never heal. Good luck! Posted via Mobile Device
I find my jods more annoying the the saddle. I have had my belt buckle catch it OW. If your worried about the saddle pop a band aid over it. Posted via Mobile Device
I have mine and have no problems. I used to have the bottom of my belly button pierced to and it would get caught sometimes so I took that out. I've had the top done for 10 years now and never had it get caught.
I had never thought of the tape idea! I did so much as to think there might be one of those clear fillers, that you would put in your ears, when you went to work so that is wouldn't be noticeable, but I never thought of tape, hahaha, I would definitely want to get the top portion of my belly buton pierced instead of the bottom.
Ew, my sister-in-law had one until it got caught on her shirt one day and ripped clean out. I personally would never get one, but if you do, be careful with it.
I've had my navel pierced since I was 13 and have never had any problems, If your riding change the ring so its not a danlgy one that will get caught in your pants or belt buckle.
I have one and havw never had a problem as long a.s you don't slide you belly alomg the saddle wheb dismounting you should be just fine :) just stick with a simple barbell no danglies for riding. I also ride western no buckle or rubbing just keep it clean Posted via Mobile Device
Haha I usually dismount weirdly, I use my stirrup as like a step to lower myself to the ground, I love that my horse puts up with me. Lol I don't wear big western buckles but I do occasionally a belt with my pants, but i've been paying attention to how my pants sit and rub when I am sitting and getting up, and as long as I put it in the top portion it wont be touched unless I am wearing a huge dangly ring instead of just a normal barbell
