Need prayers

This isn't something I'd normally do, turning to people I barely know on an online forum, but my family needs all the help we can get.

Four weeks ago, my mom (age 67) was diagnosed with uterine cancer. The doctors said they had caught it early, and they operated two weeks ago Saturday (so on the 6th). From what the doctors said, the operation was a success and they got it all. My mom was sent home the next day. Then this past Friday (the 19th), she had some unusual swelling and my dad rushed her the two hours down to the hospital where she was operated on. After a bit of run around, the doctor finally admitted that it looked like the cancer had spread to her lymph glands. She has an appointment today to find out exactly where they stand and what their options are.

If you could all include my mom and my family in your prayers, it would be appreciated more than you know.

I am so sorry my aunt recently went through this. They thought they caught it early but it very quickly spread. Shr went through all the khemo and radiation and thank god was deemed cancer free about 2 1/2 months ago.
It wad extremely scary but you and your mom are in my prayers.

The hardest part is that my brother, who has been in prison for the last 17 years, gets out in March. We're hoping that we can get the cancer under control before then so that he can have his mom back.

I've already told my boyfriend that if my mom has to go through chemo and loses her hair, that I'm shaving my head so she won't be the only bald one in the family. He promised that he'd shave his head with me. I don't know if I could handle this if I didn't have him.

Stupid computer double posted on me.

I will add my small prayer to all the others for you dear mom. I so hope that this is just a small glitch in the process of healing. Lean on those that are willing and able to carry you.

I can relate to your situation when I was 9 my mom had breast cancer they got rid of it all, no problem. She bought a wig when her hair fell out and named it Wilma......my family is strange. Then a couple years ago she collapses out of nowhere, ambulance comes and takes her to the hospital and my dad goes with her leaving my sister and I with our neighbors. I kept calm the entire time with my sister freaking out and the second the ambulance left BOOM I freak out I try to call my youth leader, I couldn't even talk to tell her why I was hysterical, my neighbor had to she prayed with me over the phone and I felt better. After I was done crying my neighbor asks if he have sprinkles....ummm "I don't know" so she rifles through the cupboard and finds some and proceeds to make me a butter and sprinkle sandwich...surprisingly good.
