Is it normal to have such a bad memory!?

Might definitely be stress for me. My insomnia is making a comeback, I have exams, sorting out work and preparing to leave home for the first time soon though I've always been quite forgetful but that could be depression which I've had a lot of problems with over the last few years.

Probably sleep for me, I don't normally sleep to about 2 in the morning even on school nights(prob why im doing bad in some exams too).
Its 1 in the morning were I am now and will prob go to sleep in half an hour.

I'm liking how we are all figuring out why we have bad memories now!

Oh my word, I do this too, like ALL the time. I will be eating breakfast or whatever, and stand up with my plate so I can rinse it in the kitchen, and I will find myself standing their, staring into my room wondering "why in the world am I in here".

Or when I close the gate to my horse pasture, I will have to go back because for the life of me I can't remember if I closed it or not, I can do this like 3 times, baha.

Happens to me too! And im 16.

I know how you feel... i'm pretty young and I have an ok short term memory (not great) but my long term memory is terrible. I have a few significant memories stored but for the most part my entire childhood seems blocked out. Some people I know have expressed concern about it but i've never gotten my brain checked out or anything lol.

My long term is really good normally. But past 8th grade is all blank. 9th and past 8th grade id rather not remember anyways.
