As a spin off from this topic

    Surgery

And only for fun, lets hear your "loose screw" story. You know the one where you did something really dumb and someone else probably though you had a few "loose screws" roaming around up there.

    Yearling
I've just been officially diagnosed as having a screw loose ;) But we've all known it for years - I'm the one who gets maths and chemistry and physics really easily but after twenty years still can't handle basic tasks like not walking into doors or remembering that the light bulb you just turned off is still going to be really hot.

I was diagnosed with loosescrewitis about 5 years ago when I started working in a prison. I don't know about anyone else but my symptoms are mild paranoia, acute evilness, occasional felonious stupidity, and a malfunctioning brain/mouth filter. It seems that the longer I work around stupid people, the dumber I feel.
