That is neat. Good for you! On occasion I have gotten something I thought was a fantastic deal, then was left wondering what I was going to do w it after I got it home. Actually needing something before you "find" a treasure does make it double exciting!

This is the second new old stock item I've ever bought. The first being a sears generator. I liked my childhood too much I think, and wanna go back then. I like old stuff.

My husband's father collects "old stuff". You'd be in 7th heaven to see his garage. Some of it is good, much of it is crap. It will be a real mess to deal with when he passes on.

I got trailers ;) it's not stuff to me, it's memories, I remember using that stuff. And our kids got stuck using it too. Hopefully the crap I leave them will mean something.
Like this pump, I hope they'll remember driving the truck to the water and using it. I still remember our first tiller, that thing would take ya for a ride! But I'd buy every one I could find now and and let my kids ride that rodeo.

    Family traditions I suppose.

Back to the pump, it's pretty, tomorrow it'll be in work mode. As life intended. But not before a serious photo shoot :)

Wow, that is awesome! I get more excited about items like this than you would think. Gosh a couple months ago I was out thrifting and found a battery charger, brand new for like 14.00 and looked it up online and it sells for over 100., now that is sweet!!!! Oh and it was something we needed. We were always borrowing one when needed. So forget the shoes and give me horse tack and power equipment! Oh yah!!!
Anddddddddddddddd, just bought a Stihl weedeater for 50. That sells for 170. Love it!!! And paid for it in trade, woot!
