    Oops I did it again...

    I...

Drug a pathetic looking dumped puppy home again

Last month it was Toto, the two-ish year old neutered (and housebroke!) Yorkie terrier cross. He showed up at a friends place with fleas and cocklebur's. I checked everywhere for an owner, even advertised on the local Trader and Craigslist. Nothing came up, so after a few baths, a dose of wormer and Frontline, he went to his new home on the farm. They absolutely adore him

Today I noticed a little black puppy wandering around the hay bales at the local auction. Lovin' me some puppies, I went over to say hi and give it a pat. Turns out, its an abandoned pup, and it definitely shows. He's in the range of 8 weeks old, absolutely covered in ticks. Balding in places from scratching. Wormy as heck, with itty bitty hindquarters and a big fat belly.
After some huge, sad, eyes and a bit of pleading....I convinced my dad to let me bring him home

He's since gotten some good food in him, AND whined to go outside! Right now he's passed out by my chair with a fat food tummy. He's quite lively and curious, just rather shy. Seems to be coming around quick though. Once he settles in a bit more he'll be getting wormed in minuscule amounts over the next few days so I don't shock his system.

Looks to be a Collie x Heeler mix. Won't be a very big dog, I bet he'll be loyal as heck and easy to train. I already got two big dogs, so I won't be able to keep him myself. After he's gotten some TLC and some socializing, he'll be looking for a new home though.

Pictures soon! Wanna let the poor guy sleep a bit before I bother him with a camera.
