I thought it woul be fun to see what career paths some of us younger horsey people are going down, is it horse related or not at all?
Here are some more questions:
What classes are you taking winter quarter?
Do you attend a community college or bigger school?
How do like being in college and either owning or leasing a horse?
Where do you want to end up when your done with school?
What year is your program done? (when are you graduating?)
Do you have your horse at school with you?
All great questions, getting to know each other a little bit more :)
I go to Seattle central community college. I'm in the social and human services program, about a two year program. It works great cause my school is walking distance from work. Fall quarter I took eng 101, intro to phycology and intro to human services. This was my first quarter at this school, first quarter at college level at all. Right now we a all working on finals, I have two 5 page papers, a huge project and a test
so this week is just head in books, or at the computer getting it all done!!
I found I really enjoy still being able to ride Oliver, I was very worried I wouldnt have the time or energy for him but it has worked out very well and when I'm at the barn my school and work stuff stays in the car, it's just my friends and trainer and the horses when I walk into the barn. It for sure is a great de stressed, gets me to just breath and have fun and relax, I can fuccus on something other then paper after paper or test after test.
That's just me :)
Share you take on college life with your horse life and such stuff ;)
