Our future barn cats :)

Here are a few pictures of Bert & Squirt - our future barn cats/mousers
They're 9 weeks old, we adopted them from our local pound when they were only 7 weeks old.

Here they are when they first came home:

And now, they're getting big!

Here's Squirt, and trust me - he is a totally squirt!

And his brother Bert, who I think will be long haired. He's a momma's boy :)

Awww, Bert's so cute!! I love cats with stripes. XD
Good luck with them! I had a cat that would just watch the mice run around, and not kill them. Sure it was funny. But she was meant to be a mouser.

Adorable. Where did you get them? It sounds like they have a good barn life awaiting them

So cute!!! I can't believe the pound let you take kittens for future barn cats. None of the ones in my area will allow you to take a cat if it's going to be a barn cat. Even a pampered one... I end up getting mine from farmers instead.

There is actually a great program that is taking hold in many areas to place barn cats via a feral to barn program. Granted, not the case with these two cuties, but there is a growing recognition of the need for placements for cats that aren't suited for household living and a need by farm-folk for good pest controlling felines, so it's a win-win program.

Aww!!! There is a barn kitty at my barn, we call her Grey Kitty haha, and she ALWAYS seems to find me and bring a mouse over and eat it in front of me. I'm like great job sweetie but ICK haha can't you do that somewhere else???
