Pennsylvania Weather... -.-'

So...we're having a snow storm with lightening and I was just outside riding my mare an hour ago. It's coming down so fast that you can barely even see the road! I'd be better off with no headlights, lol.

It was beautiful today, 40+F and sunny..all of a sudden I have an inch of snow on my truck and accumulating! I parked my truck and thought I blew something up when a flash of lightening lit up everything and then I heard the thunder xD

No wonder everyone is always sick in PA, our weather is bipolar, lol.

Anyone else ever experience a snowstorm with lightning/thunder? I've never in my almost 20 years, and apparently neither has my mother.

My area is having a very cold, and snowy winter as predicted by the farmers almanac. Everyone keeps saying it is the "global warming" that is causing the weather. ha ha Either way, not the best for any outdoor sports/hobbies. In answer to your question, yes, I have seen snow and lightning. Not often though. Bipolar weather? that is funny. :)

Definitely bipolar..still in my truck (can't smoke in the house) and it's clear out now..haha. No snow, no nothing.

I don't believe that global warming crap, it wouldn't be in the negatives next week if that were true, haha. In my, uneducated, opinion anyway.

I love "thunder snow." It's not real common, but does happen. Like last Saturday.

The coolest thunder snow storm I was in was between Riverside, WY and Walton, CO. Was driving. Had to slow way down because visibility was nil. We were enjoying the lightening and thunder when I realized a herd of elk was crossing the highway in front of me. We cracked our windows and listened to the bulls grunt and squeak as they all crossed, in the thunder, lightening and snow.

Just too darn cool and probably a once in a life time thing.

Interesting. Yes, I have seen lightening w accompanying thunder and snow..and then a rainbow. :) That is NM.

There is just as much horse sense as ever, but the horses have most of it.
