Phone Stalker?

So this certain number keeps calling me and asking for a chris or carmen which I am neither and I tell them you got the wrong number! But they keep calling me! And it has been like over a month! Just like 5 minutes ago they called twice.....i didnt answer. Does anyone know how to block numbers? You would think these people would get the idea that they have the wrong number after several times!

Green Broke
Isn't there a code you can put in your phone for that or something? Or I think you might have to call your phone company and see what they say about blocking a number. Most people I know who have that problem just change numbers, so I don't know if its possible.

Yeah, I usually change number if something like this is happening. I hope you get rid of them real soon.

One of my friends was receiving about 3 calls a day for some woman who had missed a court date...they weren't very friendly with him either, apparently this woman was in some trouble.
Eventually he tried calling a number very similar to his and sure enough a woman by that name picked he explained what had happened and he never got the calls again.

It's strange that they keep calling you back even though you've explained it to them. I'm pretty sure your company can block numbers for you, just give them a call.

My phone company can block numbers for me. Hopefully you get it all dealt with!

Yah I think I am going to contact our phone company nad see what I should do. I hope I can just get the number blocked because changing my number...well I would have a lot of people to contact with a new number! Thanks everyone!

Call the phone company and ask them to explain your options. Then, if necessary, call the police.

Unless they are actual threats, the local law enforcement won't be able to do anything.

I know a lot of phone companies can black certain numbers. If you have a chat with your company you shouldn't have a problem changing your number at no cost. I had to go thru that process a few years ago after I broke up with a crazy ex. I got a new number with no hassle. I just had to let my cell phone company know.

Good Luck
