Photoshop

I have photoshop 7. I am trying to fade the entire background of a picture and leave the object the way it is. Ie, horse is untouched, but grass, trees, sky gets faded. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks!

You will need to select the main object, inverse and then go through steps using layers or masks. Either way will accomplish it. The Help tutorials in Photoshop are excellent. Give em a try.

Easiest way for me is the selection wand. Select everything outside the horse and leave the horse unselected then to to occupancy and fade it.
