Pig Help!

Hello, I need some ideas. I rescued a 300lb potbellied pig yesterday. They feed him whole corn and table scraps(hence the 300lbs). They said that he would only pick the corn out of the feed and not eat the rest. I am new to pig care but I know that he needs protien and other nutrients so what should I try to feed him along with corn?
Thanks
LeeAnn

300lbs? That should be very unhealthy for a pot belly. I think mine is only about 80 lbs. I feed mine 1 to 2 cups of potbelly feed per day. Sometimes I give him some left over veggies or bread. That's all it really takes to feed a little pig....

Hi! I have 3 potbellies and I love them! They are omnivores and can eat just about anything. I would suggest trying some feed along with the corn and just lowering the amount of food he gets per feed and just adding veggies, fruits, and stuff like that whenever you can. Table scraps sounds bad but it actually isn’t... he might be overweight but I don’t think he’s lacking anything. Just lower the amount of food until you get to a healthy portion.
