Exclamation Please help me guys save my stables

With all of my heart. Every single inch. Please.

The stables I volunteer at is closing. The owner (RestInPeace Freda <3) died last week. Everyone is broken. The lass who runs the place has lost all hope.

But we CAN save the place. We have a group, a team, of about 20 people willing to help us. But please, HOW?? HOW DO WE SAVE OUR STABLES???

Any horse without a home for winter is going to the sales. We're trying to save it. Really we are so much. It's such a special place. Imagine somewhere where every day you're more than likely to nearly piss yourself laughing, surrounded by horses, meeting new and such great people, trying new things, where you can cry about the tiniest thing and you'll have someone who understands. Where if you are upset it's the only place you want to go. People think your family, because everyone there is such great friends. That's these stables. This is what we're trying to save.

If this was a privately owned stable, does it now go the heirs? Is there a possiblity of one person there buiying or renting it? It sounds like this was totally unexpected and certainly tragic. Are you saying you want to try and get it publicly funded?

Are you in the States? Or another country? Did Freda own the land? Does anyone have more facts about the funding/ownership?
