Portable Digital Cameras

I know this isn't quite the right area if the forum, but I am hoping to get more traffic through here. So my portable digital camera has come to a point where I have decided for something better. I currently have a big Canon but I want to replace my small portable one.

I have been looking at a couple and curious as to if any of you have had the chance to use any of these below, or own one because I'm really interested in them. Some of them have some absolutely phenomenal gadgets

My number 1 choice
Future Shop: Cameras & Camcorders: Digital Cameras: Samsung 12.2MP Dual LCD Digital Camera (ST550) - Black

-----------------------------------------

This one isn't bad
Future Shop: Cameras & Camcorders: Digital Cameras: Sony Cyber-Shot 12.1MP Digital Camera (DSC-T900) - Black

--------------------------------------

Not a fan of Olympus
Future Shop: Cameras & Camcorders: Digital Cameras: Olympus Stylus Tough 12MP Digital Camera (8000) - Silver

I used to have a Sony Cybershot - last years model and I hated it. I even tried out the new model that they have out now, not that long ago when my Kodak broke and disliked it.

Didn't take that great of action shots. The Video function does not allow you to zoom in or out while in the midst of recording, and the pixels get wonky when you zoom in.

I would bypass the Sony Cybershot.

The Nikon Coolpix S620. Very nice little camera loaded with goodies.

Most people are like Slinkies; they serve no real purpose, but they bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.
When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on for dear life.

I had a Nikon Coolpix as well - not sure if it was the s620, but it was a very similar model. It was a great little camera! Unfortunately I got sand in the sensor so now it's broken...

oh no, that's to bad! Did you just get it? It would probably take a long time to fix but you should send it in for repair. Cheaper to get it fixed than buying a new one. Good luck!
