    Prayers please!

My mom called me today to tell me my Grandma was admitted to the hospital today. She has not been feeling well for a while now, and her doctor at the nursing home said it would be best for her to go to a hospital where she would have constant care.
My mom said she has fluid in her chest and in her lungs.
I'm not going to get into all the details as I don't want to ball my eyes out again.
    She is 94 years old.
My family are supposed to go down to see her in November, and we really want to go and see her.

Please pray for me, my family and my grandma.

Yeah, she has a great memory. She's able to tell us stories of when my dad was a kid!

    Thank you so much!

On January 13, its going to be 3 years since my other grandma (on my mom's side) passed away. And 3 years later, i'm STILL dealing with it. I just don't know how I'm going to be if my grandma passes.

The worst part of it all is that she's in Georgia.. I'm in New Jersey. We don't have the money to hop on a flight tonight to go down and see her. I think that's what's tearing me up the most ATM.

Thank you so much for the prayers and hugs.

    *big hugs*

My great grandma is 96 years old and still living on her own, but has assistants come in and clean and do little things here and there. Last year she was admitted to the hospital, for what I can't remember, but when I heard, I cried because her life is so fragile right now (life is always fragile), each day is a blessing that we have with her.

I'm sorry, I don't wanna bring you down or anything. One thing that I often think about is all of the things that our elders have seen during their day. Just think about all of the wonderful things that your grandmother has witnessed, did, the people she had loved....

Okay, now I am crying.. I must call my granny.

    Thank you so much!
My mom just called for an update. She's doing much better! She ate all her dinner, pudding too!, my family talked to her on the phone. :)

    Thank goodness for hospitals!
