"The PROUD Thread"

What have you done today to make YOU feel proud?

As the song suggests, I want to pose the question to all horse forum members- what have you done today to make you feel proud? I'd love this to be an ongoing thread.. something you can all come to every day and post.

I think some people forget how important they are & what awesome qualities they have as a person. We get wrapped up in the rush of what is our lives, and forget to stop and think what makes us feel proud to be us :)

It can be something huge in your life that you feel is the proudest moment of your life so far, OR it may be as simple as remembering to bring the washing in before dark.

There is no limit to being proud, it is something that makes YOU feel good about youself.

So give it a go horse forum friends

I will start

Today I brushed my golden retriever Roxy and made her look gorgeous. I often forget to brush her and feel bad when I leave it for a long time. I felt proud of myself for taking extra care of my faithful friend :)

I took the initiative with that guy. Something that I really don't usually do. It didn't lead anywhere but I'm still proud of myself!

I stood up for myself and decided not to stand for someone always blaming me for the problems between us!

Well I took my horse magic for a ride up the road and on the way home he saw some kangaroos and leaped into the air and bolted but I stayed on a stopped him really quickly, which was lucky because he runs away when I fall of.
