Rather then having goats - again - we went with ducks ... Peking to be exact. One of the Dentists that works with Jody raises them (that could be a whole 'nether story).

A white one and two black ones - Larry, Daryl and Daryl (for those old enough to remember Bob Newhart). They are the oddest ducks in the world, they refuse to go in the little lake but love the sprinkler. They come when called (you call them by quacking). They will follow you all over the place but never get closer then 2'. When it starts to get dark they go into their pen and wait to be locked up for the night. They are a constant source of amusement and they LOVE to eat bugs. They are not bothered by the cats, dog, or the horses and they don't destroy Christmas ornaments.

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

It's not always what you say but what they hear.

Oh aren't they the cutest! I assume the two that look alike are Daryl and Daryl? Every spring the TSC stores around here have their "chick days" and I always have to pry our middle daughter away from the baby ducks. We've been offered them and chickens before, but worry they wouldn't last very long with my husband's bird dog around.

Stella - sweet, timid, elegant, lovely, lively, amazing
Luna - large, unattractive, naughty, adored

OMGOSH.... I loved the Bob Newhart show...I remember not getting some of the jokes... as I have matured ( yeah yeah..I'm maturing) Something will happen and remind me of a scene and I'll get the joke that I missed when I was little and chuckle. I've tried explaining it to my hubby but he just rolls his eyes and says that he loves me!!! That's one of those shows that just stick with ya!

Anyways, I love the ducks! They are so cute!

Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don't be afraid or discouraged by the size of the task, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.
