A question, i need some help here?

Just a question as I am new what is the "Horses" and "Carrots" thing under the user name?

You can add the horses you own and info about them. And then there is the carrot game where you try to find hidden carrots

How do I do that?

Sorry I don't know how to add a horse with this layout (I added mine a long time ago when the forum looked different) maybe Private Message a Moderator

But carrots are hidden and you just have to find them. You might find a carrot locator sometimes too and if you wait it'll tell you where one is if you are fast enough to get there in time

Simba, I will try to help you out. At the top of the page in the blue line that has "user cp" "horses" "horse chat" etc... Click on the word horses. It will take you to a page asking you if you want to visit your barn or visit another members barn.

Go ahead and visit your barn, you will be able to create a page for all your horses and add details about them.


As for the carrot game. It is a feature here at Horse Forum "just for fun". The carrots will appear randomly throughout the forum...they can be difficult to find as there are many members involved in the game and the carrots are caught rather quickly. As soon as a member catches a carrot another one is hidden.

We also have a carrot locator that will tell you where a carrot is hiding. Beware though... There is a carrot bandit on the loose that will take a carrot from you should you happen to sumble upon him. Also, for a fun twist, members are given the opportunity (randomly) to try and steal a carrot from another member who is off-line. Not every attempt to steal is sucessful and of course we have a tally of the biggest thieves and also the biggest do gooders who declined the opportunity to steal from another member. The carrot stats page can be accessed by clicking on anyone's carrot count.

Hey, I would just like to say that the "horses" link isn't available w/ the "Horse Forum" layout, but it's there w/ the "default" layout... might wanna pass that on to Mike

Simba, We have 2 "skins" available here for your viewing pleasure. The "default style" is basically blue and white and the "Horse Forum style" is green and yellow. You can change between the two styles at the very bottom of the page in the left hand corner. There is a drop down box that you can click and choose which style you would like to use. The "horses" button was left off the green and yellow style and will be fixed shortly. You can access the Horses from the original Default style though. Hope that wasn't too confusing.
