    Quite Moments

    I was wondering, do you or did you ever feel that you should sit in a room alone with dim lights and think for long hours? - A Quite Moment -

    I usually use to do this when I was in University however since then I am so busy with everyday life, that even when I want to, I can't get time. It's almost like "the quite moments" have vanished from my part of life.

    Anyhow, do you guys have done or feel to have some "quite moments" where you are the only one in the room with dim lights and think about anything? It could life, universe, world, birds and God knows what else.

    Mind you I have recently noticed Quite Moments of this forum too

    What are your thoughts?

    I love quiet moments....mine are usually when im driving, I think a lot.

    Last night I had a nice quiet moment before I fell asleep, I was just zoning and going over a lot of stuff (actually it all had to do with horsey stuff, been having some problems) and I was just staring at my stack of dvd's. I really was on a roll with my thoughts and I was laying facing my boyfriend so all he saw was me laying there super quiet looking at the wall!!! Lol so he OBVIOUSLY thought something was wrong with me lol. I had to pretend to close my eyes so he would stop asking me if everything was ok :)

    Because I'm a daydreamer type I love those quiet moments.

    I can still remember one evening few years ago when I was sitting on the floor of my room and watching out of the window for a long time. It was a "blue" time of the day (the time just before darkness comes you know). It was somehow so... soothing.

    I used to think a lot when I was riding in the car or walking my dog or driving. I'd think when I'd just get too lazy to get up too. I've heard that just taking 5 minutes a day to just think reliefs stress and helps you out a lot.
