Random Questions that are fun to ponder

When I get bored I look up random things to entertain me, and I love questions like these. What would you answer to some of them (pick one and share ! )

1. If you were God for a day, what would you do?
2. If you could be the parent of one famous person, who would you want it to be and why?
3. What was the last thing you regret buying?
4. If you had a chance to bring one person back from the dead, who would it be and why?
5. What three things you regret not learning to do?
6. If you had a crystal ball that could tell you the truth about any one thing you wished to know about yourself, life, the future, or anything else, what would you want to know?
7. What's worse... having expectations that are too high, or having no expectations at all?
8. How do you know when you're in love?
9. What is the most important invention or innovation that has happened during your life-time?
10. How would you spend your ideal day?
11. What, if anything, is too serious to be joked about?
12. What three adjectives might other people use to describe your personality?
13. Who would you choose to be shipwrecked on a desert island with?
14. What is your idea of a perfect romantic evening?
15. If you were to be remembered for one thing, what would you like it to be?
16. If you were guaranteed honest responses to any three questions, whom would you question, and what would you ask them?
17. If you saw someone shoplifting, what would you do?
18. Is there anything you would willingly give your life for?
19. If you could re-live a day of your life again, which would it be and why?
20. If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do?

#7...I would say having expectations that are too high is worse. If they are high and you fail, it leaves you open to feelings of being let down. If you go into a situations with no expectations you leave happy with any achievement that you make.

#17...In my best Bon Qui Qui voice - "Sekuriday!!!!" lol Couldn't help myself.

#19...As sad as it was, I would like to redo the day I had to put my horse down. At the time, I was so distressed and my whole everything was on my horse. Looking back, there were a lot of people there. I don't even know why. They were just there, staring, while I'm bawling my eyes out and cradling my horses head and making the worst and hardest decision of my life. If I could do it over, I would have made them leave.

I didn't do all of them. Just the ones I didn't have to think too long over.

If you were God for a day, what would you do?

I'd scoop up all the abused and neglected animals/children in the world and give them to good owners/parents. Then I'd smite all the evil human beings.

If you had a chance to bring one person back from the dead, who would it be and why?

Boris Karloff, so I could marry him.

What three things you regret not learning to do?

Bake pies from scratch, learning German in high school, and riding sidesaddle. I plan on knocking those off my list eventually, though.

What's worse... having expectations that are too high, or having no expectations at all?

Having none is worse. You have no motivation or goals if you have no expectations. Having lofty expectations at least gives you something to strive for.

How do you know when you're in love?

Beats me. I avoid men at all costs and threaten to devour the souls of the ones who are unfortunate enough to cross my path.

How would you spend your ideal day?

Wake up without an alarm, have my Irish creme coffee, read a few chapters in a fantasy novel, go book shopping, ghost hunting, walk through an old cemetery at dusk, explore an abandoned building after dark, go through a few haunted houses if it's in October...

What, if anything, is too serious to be joked about?

Lots of things. Dead children, 9/11, Holocaust, etc.

What three adjectives might other people use to describe your personality?

Quiet, reclusive, sarcastic.

Who would you choose to be shipwrecked on a desert island with?

My best friend, because she's the only person I can stand being around for extended periods of time.

What is your idea of a perfect romantic evening?

Strolling through a historic cemetery under the full moon and sharing ghost stories over glasses of wine.

If you were to be remembered for one thing, what would you like it to be?

Artwork and/or poetry.

If you saw someone shoplifting, what would you do?

I'd march up to them and tell them what a dink they are, which would cause a scene and force them to put the item(s) back.

Is there anything you would willingly give your life for?

My horses and cats. And my closest friends.

If you could re-live a day of your life again, which would it be and why?

I'd relive any day with my late uncle or grandmother. Those were some of the best times of my life.

1. If you were God for a day, what would you do?

Small things like making sure traffic lights coordinate so your light doesn't turn green and you only get 2 cars through because the next light is red.

Big things like solving world hunger and making all children wanted.

3. What was the last thing you regret buying?

Former mare.

9. What is the most important invention or innovation that has happened during your life-time?

The internet.

14. What is your idea of a perfect romantic evening?

Good food, good wine, good conversation. Good bed time.

15. If you were to be remembered for one thing, what would you like it to be?

Successfully redirecting lives of kids.

17. If you saw someone shoplifting, what would you do?

Depends. Mom stealing daipers, I wouldn't say anything. Teen stealing an ipod, I would stop him/her.

18. Is there anything you would willingly give your life for?

Lots of things, my family, my friends, my kids. To save someone else.

8. How do you know your in love?

A: You know your in love when you don't have reasons why your in love with that person. Why ? Because when you don't have reasons then you love EVERYTHING about them. When you do have reasons then you love SOME things about them but not everything, then how can you be in love. That my friend is how you know its true love. :)

1. If you were God for a day, what would you do?
Help out all of those people who have lost everything in natural disasters... it's heart breaking what all of those people have to deal with.

2. If you could be the parent of one famous person, who would you want it to be and why?
I'm a parent to the two most amazing little people already, don't need or want to be to anybody else.

3. What was the last thing you regret buying?
Can't think of anything for this.. I buy sod all if I don't need it. I can't remember the last time I got to buy new clothes even :/

4. If you had a chance to bring one person back from the dead, who would it be and why?
My Mom... I never got to say goodbye, tell her I love her and thank her for all she did for me

5. What three things you regret not learning to do?
A) Swim... I can almost somewhat keep myself afloat but wouldn't be strong enough to properly swim anywhere. There is no going out of "foot level". B) Speak another language c) Can't think of anything.

6. If you had a crystal ball that could tell you the truth about any one thing you wished to know about yourself, life, the future, or anything else, what would you want to know?
How much longer I'm going to be stuck on this little Island :P Get me back to Canada!!

7. What's worse... having expectations that are too high, or having no expectations at all?
Too high... if you have no expectations you can be genuinely suprised. Expect to much and you'll be left disappointed.

8. How do you know when you're in love?
When your mad at them and the sight of them makes you smile like an idiot... which makes being mad at them **** near impossible.

9. What is the most important invention or innovation that has happened during your life-time?
Haven't a clue.

Out with my ponies and kids. And sleeping past 6am! I got to lie in til 8 today.. it felt amazing :)

Mental health issues..

12. What three adjectives might other people use to describe your personality?
A) stubborn b) stubborn c) st....ehm.... loyal

13. Who would you choose to be shipwrecked on a desert island with?
Jon Bon Jovi! Most. Gorgeous. Man. Ever. I'd just want to swoon at him endlessly :)

14. What is your idea of a perfect romantic evening?
Hahaha! My husband doesnt DO romantic. His proposal consisted of "sure, if we move to that house we may as well get engaged" while watching telly. To be frankly honest, if he did something romantic at this stage I'd probably die of laughter.

15. If you were to be remembered for one thing, what would you like it to be?
My loyalty to those close to me.

16. If you were guaranteed honest responses to any three questions, whom would you question, and what would you ask them?

17. If you saw someone shoplifting, what would you do?
Had this experience years ago at work. Caught coworkers lifting a pair of jeans and had to approach a boss. Not nice to be caught in the middle but I don't want it on my mind.

18. Is there anything you would willingly give your life for?
My kids.

19. If you could re-live a day of your life again, which would it be and why?
The day I found out when my Mom's funeral was. I was only told on the Tuesday evening and her funeral was on the Thursday. I hadn't a hope of getting there in time, but regret that I didn't try harder.

20. If you could be invisible for a day, what would you do?
Throw skittles at people who really annoy me.. just cause it would be childish and immature but they would never know it was me :)
