Rant about my job

Ok first off I have zero issues with working my butt off and earning my money fairly so I am very glad to have my job and able to earn money myself.

Now my work drives me nuts. There are a few I enjoy working with but several make it so miserable. I am a courtesy clerk and people are so darn rude like why??? This morning this guy is explaining how he wants his stuff bagged and I still not full awake start to put a bag in his cart without double bagging he corrects me and I apologize and double bag it. He proceeds to stand there and grumble to his wife about how it's stupid that you have to sit there and watch the baggers or they do everything wrong and blah blah blah. I made one tiny mistake dude back off!!

And some of our higher ups great is like we are a constant bother and it burdens them to explain stuff to us.

Anyways again I love having a job and being able to pay for what I want and start saving towards my move but people are just so inconsiderate it blows my mind. I work my butt off to be treated like dirt. I would rather muck stalls and such then deal with people and shopping carts haha.

just a small town girl with a big town dream :]

A lot of people are rude, and will treat you as if you are a lesser human. Doesn't much matter what type of job you have, you will encounter that, along with crappy bosses.

The only way to deal with it, is to not let it upset you, and just ignore it.

Oh I try and I'm aware it just drives me crazy how these people seem to not have ever known how it is to work. That and honestly we should be called glorified janitors considering we do all of the cleaning throughout the day lol.

Trust me I am not complaining just venting. I am glad to have a job though ready to go to texas so this will do haha.

I fully understand the glorified janitor part! People are gross sometimes! I have done the courtsy clerk thing too and I can honestly say I would rather clean stalls than do that ever again! It's impossible to please some people! I have several people where I work that ask me if they can use the bathroom dispite the fact that it has a out of order sign clearly posted! It drives me nuts! Its been that way for weeks now the toilet dosent flush properly and I got sick of having to flush othet peoples waste! I put the sign up till the boss fixes the plumming which should be the 5th of never! LOL! I just use the one in the back of the shop. So yep I know what your going through! My CC career was cut short by a can of cream of mushroom soup! I picked it up to put it in the bag and I tore the abductor muscles between my pinky and the finger next to it. It hurt like a mother! And took a long time to heal.

I guess that gives you more motivation to better yourself so you dont have to do that for the rest of your life.

This is probably the only slang/rap quote/fad-ie thing I like: "haters are my motivators"
