Re-connect with childhood classmate?!

Firstly, I am 21 now (so is the person I am going to talk about). Went to the same school district from kindergarten until 9th grade then I moved and went to high school somewhere else. At the start of this month, a guy that I went to school with ( I wasn't ever friends with him but I know exactly who he is) got a hold of me on Facebook and we have been talking for the past month. I am finishing my semester up for school and I told him I'd hang out with him when I was finished. Wednesday (tomorrow) I am done and I am really nervous about this because I actually kind of enjoy talking to him. I am nervous I will be a disappointment? He has seen photos of me on Facebook and all of that but I still feel so nervous! What to do?? Should I even go? Lol, sorry for the stupid question, I normally don't get this nervous about things but it is an odd situation...So nervous I feel like I'm 10 years old LOL

I say that go and meet him if you feel so. Sure it can be disappointment but what do you can lose?

May you could reset your mind and not to put too much expectations on him, based on it what you've talked over Internet?

Well, he kind of made it more than a friendship type thing. He put the expectations there by telling me he was interested. He is calling this a "date." I suppose I have got nothing to lose, except maybe some self esteem if he doesn't like me. He calls me a few times a week and texts me all throughout the day. There has already been much flirting so it's kind of hard to take that back unfortunately lol

Just be yourself :) I had gone out with an old buddy who I new from kindergarten to 8th grade and moved and we met via fb again when I went to college. We met and started dating... we later broke up but are still friends - actually best friends :)

Just remember if he doesn't like you, not worth dating time.. if you don't like him like that well then say so.. just have fun though biggest key factor :)

Kait that sounds like this exact situation! I'm excited but just nervous lol. He tells me I have nothing to worry about. I'm more excited about it but the nerves do get to me lol. Thanks for your answers guys :)

Going tonight to meet up with him... AHHHHHH lol! Here goes nothin :/ I'm sure I'll be updating later on how it went.

Still nervous! But excited. Ahhhhh lol :). My goal for the night is merely to have fun... So no pressure. And if he's disappointed well too bad for him... He's the one who wanted to talk to me in the first place lol

Okay I'll update later!!!!!

Hi again!

The night went alright. We went out to the bar he works at (he waited for me after he got off of work). He seemed really quiet and distant so I really wasn't sure how he felt about the whole situation. I was my usual talkative self LOL and his coworkers were getting a kick out of me at least. When I got there and was ordering my drink I REALLLLLYYY felt like he didn't want me to be there. It wasn't bad though; I was still nervous but when I got there it wasn't as bad because I was just myself. I was confused because his body language was saying one thing yet he kept hinting at hanging out again....and then when I went to my car he's like "Fineeee I guess I could just hug myself" (hahah) so he did end up giving me a hug at the end of the night (it was a very quick one he pulled away fast lol). I think we both definitely reverted back to our 8th grade selves lol...that is where we left off, after all! HA

I texted him when I got home and I asked him how he was and he said "i'm really good actually...i just had a wow I want to see this girl more because she makes me happy moment." hahah and I told him he seemed like he wasn't really interested and he said "well I was a little nervous before you got there but after you got there I got REALLY nervous....you are waaayyyyy prettier in person." Lol. So I guess his quietness was just nervousness. So all is well....going to see him again tonight :)
