    Redoing my bedroom

I'm not entirely sure if this will have any questions in it or if im just writing whats happening, either way, I'm redoing my bedroom.

When I was younger I always piled in as much as possible into my room, I had about five lots of shelves, plus a cupboard and a desk crammed with stuff, and under my bed was stuffed to the top with junk. Over time I've slowly gotten rid of a lot of it. In recent years I wanted a really horsey themed bedroom, and I worked towards that. Now I've had a change of heart again.

I keep wanting to get rid of as much furniture as possible. I have a shelf, a drawer, my bed, bedside table and a desk in my room, and a floating shelf. I want to get rid of the floating shelf, and redecorate my bedside table, maybe even get a smaller one (the one I have is quite tall). I also want to eventually get rid of the desk (not a desk but desk like thing, my mum wants it as it matches with another set she has). I also want to change the blinds on my windows as the ones I have now are quite dark and gloomy.

I have a fairly large model horse collection, well, not large collection but about 10-15 large horses. And if im downsizing, I don't know what to do with them. I've already sold a lot of them and I really like these ones, but I don't if I should keep them or not. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do with them, sell? Keep? Find somewhere else to keep them?

I currently have my horse show sashes hanging above my bed, but I'm considering hanging them on the side of my shelves. That way above my bed will look more open, and they will be visible when you first walk in.

Does anyone have any suggestions for small things that can add greenery to my room? I really want a kinda foresty feeling room with a kinda horsey theme. My room is really wooden at the moment and I like it that way, it also has a blue theme to it (well, blue doona cover), so I want to introduce some browns and greens.

I have no idea why I keep changing my room, but I really like the idea of having an open room with a few distinct possessions. I guess as you get older you want change :)

Why not group your horse stuff together, the horses on a shelf with the ribbons beneath? My younger son went thro a stage where he wanted his room painted black. It didn't happen. Fortunately he outgrew that.

Black? Good thing he didnt paint his room, bedrooms should never be black IMO. I May group my horse stuff, but I figured it looks better if my models are all spread out, I think I might also put some in the room next to mind just so I can avoid selling them but I don't have to keep them in my room.
