Reported someone for abuse

I reported someone in the town over from me for dog abuse. I hope the aspca does something about it.

They have two Beagles that they keep in a rabbit hutch out behind their garage.

These dogs are in that thing in all sorts of weather. They stand there huddled together in the cold looking towards the house. Its very sad and I can't stand witnessing it anymore.

I emailed the local aspca for our county... I really hope they investigate it.

Kim-angel I know what you mean our neighbor had golden retriever and they all but abandoned it because they got a new dog. When she first showed she was the sweetest dog she would do all of the commands and looked healthy but her coat condition started to decline it was mated and dirty and the her underside was swollen and she got to the point where she would literally crawl around because she was scared that she would get hit or kicked. Then one day she showed it was cold the wind was blowing and she was wet so got a blanket wrapped her up in it and took her to the animal shelter where she was sadly put down. If we would have known that she would be put down we would have taken her in as our own but we told the shelter we took her to was good place and they adopt out all of the dogs but that is not the case at all they looped a collar around her neck and pulled back there where we know they put her down it was so sad because she thought she going to a new home on our way there for the first time in a long while she was panting with excitement and sitting up straight but once we arrived she woudn't even go threw the door. It truly broke my heart . So you did a great Kim-angel and I hope the Beagles get a new hom where they will be taken care of.

People who don't care for their animals disgust me!

What sort of a human being could torture, neglect or abuse an animal! All that animals have is unconditional love and it brings me to tears to think that some monster could abuse that trust that those animals so faithfully place in a horrible human being that has no right to get that kind of respect from anyone!!

I think that saving an animal from harms way is not only a kind thing to do - but is the only thing you can do when faced with the choice.

Well done for having the courage to do what is right!

Fear looks down, Hope looks sideways, Faith looks up!

Thank you guys for the support. After I notified the ASPCA, I was feeling a bit guilty or feeling like a "tattle tale" but I just couldnt stand to see those dogs in that rabbit cage anymore.

I will drive by their house this weekend to see if they are gone. Hopefully they get a nice new home where someone will let them inside their house.

That was very good of you. :)
We reported a neighbor last year, because they kept their dog in their (it was summertime too), garage. Garages are hot in the summer...poor dog, just locked up in a cage.
Or they would leave it outside in the yard with no water, outside in the like 90+ degree weather.
Thank god we got it taken care of. :)
But yeah, good for you, people need a lesson.
