Saw this on facebook this morning and thought I'd share.

The backstory
In Thailand, a tiger gave birth to 3 baby tigers. Due to difficult pregnancy, babies were born prematurely and due to their small size, they died shortly after the birth.
After recovering, the mother tiger suddenly started to lose health, although physically she was fine. Veterinarians believed that the loss of her litter has caused depression. So they decided to put babies from another tiger with her, and perhaps, her condition would improve.
Unfortunately it turned out that it is impossible to obtain tiger babies of the right age for a grieving mother.
But the solution was found, it is on the photo!

You're welcome Duffy. It made me sad a little and then smile a bunch.

My mom had a piglet when she was a kid that they had gotten from friends that lost the sow, my grandpa's female bird dog had a litter of pups at the time and Lady took the piglet, Porky and raised him with her pups. I should ask my mom if she has pictures. They ended up keeping that pig until he died because he'd pretty much become a dog/pet and they couldn't stomach the thought of eating him.

Oh my goodness! That is just so freaking cute! She looks so happy with her baby ummm...Tig-letts!

This is going to sound gross, but the tiger shirts that they are wearing, are they the baby tiger's fur? That way the mom can smell her babies and accept them? Or are they just cute shirts?

Sometime the animals show the love, compassion, and loyalty many people don't show...

The law of the wild says kill only when you are hungry. Photographer Michel Denis-Huot, who captured these amazing pictures on safari in Kenya's Masai Mara in October last year, said he was astounded by what he saw:

"These three cheetah brothers have been living together since they left their mother at about 18 months old," he said. "On the morning we saw them, they seemed not to be hungry, walking quickly but stopping sometimes to play together. At one point, they met a group of impala who ran away. But one impala youngster was not quick enough and the brothers caught it easily."

These extraordinary scenes followed:

I think the impala was definitely in shock at first. But not sure about the end. Mostly because it seems to be very young, and they still are more "flexible" to accept something new.
