Saturday is here!

Well, I've got eggs, toast, oatmeal and Raisin Bran this morning. Coffee, oj, milk and cocoa, too.

My husband and oldest daughter have been in Iowa since Wed. Night on a pheasant hunting trip and I miss them. They've had some rough weather, too. It's rainy and cold here today. It looks like it wants to clear up, though. I hope so. I'm supposed to take Ogre to a birthday party today for pony rides.

Bill, I hope you're recovering from your "hangover".

I'm getting GRAVEL!!! Whooo Hooo!!! I woke up about 6:30 this morning, made my hubby breakfast and filled a small cooler with a few snack and sodas. I kissed my baby, slapped him on the tush and sent him to go haul rocks!!!

This is a 3 neighbor effort today. There are 3 of us in a 3 mile stretch that need gravel brought in for our driveways after this springs heavy rains. One has a tractor, one has a backhoe and My hubby borrowed a dump truck from work. We will be getting the gravel from the creek that runs through our property. When it flooded this spring it washed up LOTS & LOTS of gravel to the sides of the creek...I think all that rock was from our driveways!!!

Anywho, I'm so excited!!!! I won't have to hold my soda when driving in and our of my driveway anymore for fear of all the bumps splashing the soda out.

My girls won't have to walk around our "pond" in the driveway to get to the school bus. The puddle in the driveway is about 10' long and 8' wide!!!

Ahhh thank you for the breakfast! It was much needed. It's 10:00 and I'm exhausted. Ryan and I stayed up until 4AM playing our new Xbox360. and drinking a tad.. So, I think I'm going to take some breakfast on the run and head back to sleep. He had to get up early to go on an off-roading trip with the wheeling group from college. I really wish I could have gone but I have to work at 3 I'm sad...

3neighs...I know the feeling. My boyfriend lives downstate (and I'm from the upper peninsula) on school vacations and I hate it... I'm hoping I can go down with him this summer and get a good job so I don't have to work during school next year. Get rid of our apartment up here and live in a house next year with some friends.

Dumas that sounds like lotsa fun!! I'm 21 and I feel "older" sometimes because that kind of stuff excites me too haha! (No, I'm not calling you old!!) I'd much rather work outside though and do physical labor such as splitting firewood and whatnot than go out partying... Ryan and I are not the typical college students. We are normally in bed watching the news by 11:00..hah..lame? Maybe..but we enjoy it

It's 15:22 and I just came back from praying. I thought today I will be going to do some work at net cafe (building their site) however the guy didn't turn up so I ended up in the Shop.

At the moment, I am sitting in my shop office and while writing this message I am listening to Sam Cooke - A change is going to come.....Oh no it's changed now to No woman no cry now....

It's ever so cold outside and I really want to go home and have a hot tea with my sister hand made cake .
