Share your productive day :)

So, I just finished my first year at Uni without having a mental breakdown! I think that is an achievement in itself So today was my first official day of the holidays, so I decided to go to work to visit everyone and say hello to the new baby Nickleby - a gorgeous Dutch Warmblood, looks like he might shed out to liver chestnut, with three white socks and a star/stripe

So I had a chat with my boss about the insurance necessary for my work placement, which needs to go to my course tutor (even though I've worked there 6 years!). I got copies of the documents to email to my tutor - happy days! Then cruised home in the sun with the windows down

Second productive event of the day was me deciding to take advantage of the nice weather and washed my car by hand I'm pretty sure some of the kids on the street must have thought I was crazy not going to a jet washer, but I figured, why pay? And it's something to keep me occupied

So, has anyone else done anything productive today?

I like washing my car by hand. It's kind of theraputic.

Congrats on your first year well done!

Thanks Tiny! I loved every second of it, met some amazing people and horses, and had the opportunity to help some horses that really needed it Might be going to Horse of the Year Show in October as well! My Uni has connections with Bob Ellis the course designer, and every year he hand picks a team from my Uni as Arena Party, to help build the courses and puissance wall and stuff like that, for the whole week

And yeah, it is therapeutic, feels like I'm looking after my baby It may be like trying to make a silk purse out of a sows ear, but she's mine, so that's all that matters

Well, I was up with hubby at 6, them off to a friends barn for 8, before 10 had cleaned 13 stalls and fed 20 horses as well as treating the two sick ones (colic surgery and a bad pastern injury). Then off to do my own barn, feed clean and water. Now it's one here and I'm working on the house, watered and picked the garden and am loving on my kiddos.

Well, if it helps I just enjoyed a nap with a very snuggly 8 year old and a very adorable Jack russel.
