This is sick!!

This is just ridiculous!!!!!!! This actually made me cry!!! My dad is a major in the national guard and is stationed in afghanistan fighting for our country!!!! People like that make me sick!!! How can they call themselves christian????

It's with people like this that I actually hope there IS a God, because it is going to be friggin PRICELESS when they die and end up in hell. I'd sell my soul for tickets to that show!

It's going to be beyond interesting to see what happens when one of their major players dies, how they react to what people are going to be doing at THEIR funerals.

It's so blatantly obviously for attention that it's just pathetic. I don't for a single instance believe that THEY actually believe all this - they want their 15 minutes of fame, and they know the more outrageous they get, the more the world watches. They're only doing this because they know the reaction is so strong. It's a shame we couldn't just ignore them, because the people fighting back are the ones who unfortunately fuel this fire. You can't talk reason with people like this, you just can't. They're exactly like terrorists - they've convinced themselves of something, and nothing is ever going to make them see otherwise.

Can we vote them off the island?

I'm not religious but here's what I've got to say.

I'm not a violent person but put me in a room with one of these psycho's and I will do some damage.

Preschool to eighth grade I went to a religious school, we were taught to hate nonreligious groups.

What boggles my mind is how can religious people preach that God hates ANYTHING? Doesn't the bible say at SEVERAL points that he loves everybody, even sinners?

I however, do hate, and I hate these people, unfortunately the first amendment allows them to behave this way, however I'm pretty sure you could get them for psychological harassment if they're at a funeral of a loved one..

I think that may have been true in the beginning, but the fact that I see them having toddlers hold signs and are filling their heads with so much hate is scary. Those kids are going to have a hard time breaking away from their families and forming their own beliefs and opinions when theyre surrounded by so much hate.

I would love to see this guys funeral. I hope they make it the GAYEST protest ever. I hope they paint the freakin black top like a rainbow. I hope that there are men kissing men and women kissing women as far as the eye can see! I want that man to be rolling so hard in that grave that he could start a fire.

Like MM, I wish I could just ignore this. I am sure these people would go away. But if I lost a loved one and people were protesting their funeral...there would be no saving them...and my loved one wouldn't be the only one in a box. That I can be sure of.

I really hope no one protests his funeral as much as I dislike him. I will however make women in celebration that the world is rid of one more bigot.

It's easy to see that woman is crazy. The protest of that funeral has been all over our local news. Originally that family was awarded a lot of money over that protest, but now the crazies are taking it to the supreme court. I do believe the crazies will win in this one. I think they are protected under the Constitution. As long as they are not physically hurting anyone or inciting riot, I believe the supreme court will rule in their favor.

If that does happen, I think the best thing all of us can do is stop giving them attention. They aren't doing this because they hope to gain the attention of a few people at a funeral. IMO, they are doing this to gain the attention of the media...after all, what better way is there to send a message to the multitudes. It is actually a pretty good plan (not morally of course, but I'm sure morale values can't climb so high as the soap box these folks are preaching from), look how much attention they have already received.

Before he got so big in the media he used to be very active in Ann Arbor, MI, where I used to live. As it is a gay friendly college town. I once sat behind him at a fundraiser and it was about allI could do to not throw my hot coffee in his lap.


But he makes his money from sueing people who protest him, as they get too close as they are not as savvy with the law as he is. And so this funds him to carry on. I hate the POS and I would like to accidentally run him over, but we have free speach, so I suppose he has a voice.

I can only take comfort in the fact the my "SEAL angel" will be there to greet them, along with many of the soldiers who fought and died. Guaranteed. All I can say is what he used to say- karma is a bit*h!

I was always thankful to be on his good side.....

I am ashamed to say that Fred Phelps and the WBC are frequent protesters in my area. They picketed my high school. We have a very strong Gay-Straight alliance club and they called us the spawn of the devil and such. We ran them back to their vans with our girls making out with eachother in front of them ;)
