Signed up for a pen pal!

Im very excited! I signed up as a pen pal today as I've been planning for a while! I'm now a pen pal to a staff sargaent serving overseas in Afghanistan! I send him a letter once a week and a care package every month! What kind of stuff do you guys think I should put in the care package? I'm so excited and glad to be doing something for someone.

Edited because autocorrect and I butchered the title...

That is great! Maybe in your care package you can send him a magazine that matches his interests..of course for me that old be a horsey magazine. Some good coffee , candy, word search book, just stuff you would like to see when you open up a box...it would be like it's his birthday every month :) You will be doing good work, making an impact on the people who protect our freedoms. Thank you..

I signed up through the Soldier's Angel Program:

I know I'm sending him chapstick, as that's apparently the most requested one of course

I'd say gum and chocolate always have it's place too. Kudos to you for doing that!

The only chocolate that won't melt is m&ms so definitely some of that! If anyone wants to me to pass along a message to him or words of encouragement, I'd be glad to include those messages!
