Snapple's "Real Facts"

I always read what the caps says on my snapple and today's read
"The temp. Of the sun can reach 15 million degrees F."

I want to know how they know that. It's not like they could land on the sun or anything. And you'd be too far away(in a space shuttle) to get an accurate temperature.

Does anyone else want to share some "Real Facts" from their snapple cap?

Maybe they go certain distances and find the difference in temperature and times it by how far away they are to get an approx. If that makes ANY sense! Sorry...

I am sure there's a way, but I don't know. I guess I thought the sun would be hotter :P

Thanks Blu, I'll know what to look out for now.

They sound quite nice flavours. Are they sweet?

I'd say they are. They have a huge variety of flavors.
Here's their website

My snapple fact for the day:
The fastest served ball in tennis was clocked at 154 miles an hour in 1963.
