Cool So, I need to get rich. . . . Suggestions?

After several years of college, I'm taking some time off to work on repaying my student loans (aaahhhh!!) before going back to finish a degree in architecture. I will have to transfer to another school that offers the entire program (the University near my home only offers the Pre-Arch. Program and I've done what I can there), and moving at this time is not particularly feasible, soo. . . . I would like to get as much of my loan paid off as possible in the next year or two, which is quite a task!

Anyway, I find myself in the position of having no degree which qualifies me for a "real" job, plus I have three kids (ages 1,6 and 10) and I live in Idaho, where the wages are so poor that paying child care costs wouldn't leave me any money from a paycheck. My husband works, and while I could repay the loans on his wages, it will not be in a really timely fashion, so the intrest will add up to more.

I am a decent artist, but SUPER lazy. Art seems like the most marketable talent I've got going for me at this point, though, and I'm going to work on making art even if I have to choke it out of myself. . .

I'm wondering if anyone has some good ideas for marketing artwork, or any other good ideas for making some extra cash?

Thanks for reading!

Well. . . . To put it kindly, technology hates me and it is not my friend.

I actually have thought about it, but not looked into the skill set it would take to pull it off. . . It is a good idea, and obviously there is a huge demand. . . And I could do it from home. . . . Hmmm, will have to explore the idea! I could start with designing my own. . . .

Buy my rabbits! XD

Nah, I would try DeviantART and market your art there. If you price reasonably, you should get lots of commission requests as you gain popularity.

Etsy is another place where you can market your original pieces.

Marry money.

When I was a nubile young lass of 23 or so, I had the chance. Mr. BucksOPlenty was warm for my form, if you know what I mean.

I had friends telling me to go for it but I wanted to marry for love, not money. Silly me, I still think you should actually love someone you marry!

I just couldn't do it. He was 35 years older than me, bald, with liver spots. Eww, just eww!

LOL!!! SR, the funny thing is. . .I'm already married -to my dearest friend- who is 25 years older than me, bald, (but lacking liver spots!) We joke that I married him for his money. . . Because we are such an unlikely combination, lots of friends and aquaintances were perplexed when we fell in love! Would have been convenient if he were rich. . .

Two Geldings, I will look into deviant art and etsy, as soon as I get a small body of work built up. Thanks for the suggestions. If you have large, fluffy french Angora rabbits, you could probably talk me into buying a breeding pair!

Payette, I don't have a problem if people are actually in love.

After all, real love is hard enough to find, so whichever package it comes in has nothing to do with it!

^^It suprised us both, but we've been together for 6 years now, and married for 3, and we are both really happy (mostly!), so it's a good thing!
I totally agree that love should be what dictates choosing a partner. . . It would just be creepy to me to know that you married someone just for their possesions. . . Eewww.

Any good at sales? There are a lot of opportunities out there in sales, especially working from home. I'm 21 and work from home selling health/life insurance.
